Founded in 1984 by Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, Urban Bush Women (UBW) presents bold and life affirming dance theater based on women?s experiences, African American history, and cultural influences of the African Diaspora. Their high-energy choreography weaves together contemporary dance, music, humor, and knowing insights into the human condition.
