First Look 2010 Emerging Artists Series: New Tales for Our Age
Exhibition features young contemporary artists who use their works to tell stories, highlighting works that seek to reexamine the potential and relevance of narrative in the art of the twenty-first century. Featured artists contribute different approaches and viewpoints to this theme using animation, digital technology, sculpture, watercolor, and drawing to invent new ?fairy tales,? fantasy worlds, and narratives about life. Curated by Midori Yoshimoto, Ph.D., New Jersey City University and Aileen June Wang, Ph.D., Pennsylvania State University, The Behrend College.
