Alice on the Edge
ALICE ON THE EDGE by Alice Gerstenberg. A ?Picasso? among playwrights, she was known for her ?Futuristic/Cubistic? style. If artists painted pictures using techniques to elicit emotional reactions from patrons, she believed the same motives could be applied to theater. ELTC proudly presents several of her enticing one-acts: ?Fourteen,? ?The Illuminati in Drama Libre,? ?He Said and She Said,? and ?Overtones,? one of the most talked about plays of the 1915 Broadway season, featuring for the first time on stage, the interplay of two characters and their alter egos. Delicious fun! (No show on Sat. July 4; added show on Sun. July 5.)
