Interpreter Referral Services

This list has been provided to you as means to make direct contact with interpreter referral agencies and/or sign language interpreters on the Division of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing’s (DDHH) referral list. Only those interpreters who have agreed to have their names and business information appear. These interpreters have been screened by DDHH and/or possess certification offered by the NRID.

The agencies listed have their own polices and procedures for handling request and processing payment for services. DDHH will assume no responsibility for any services secured through agencies or freelance interpreters as they are independent businesses and are not an extension of DDHH.

Please Note: Although these interpreters have passed a general screening given by DDHH, DDHH makes no claim as to the qualifications of any interpreter for a specific subject matter. It is incumbent upon the service provider to ascertain the appropriateness of an interpreter for a particular assignment. DDHH disseminates this list only as a resource to facilitate the difficult task of locating an interpreter. In addition, DDHH encourages entities to establish their own partnerships with qualified interpreters.
